Public Flying Shows & Displays
1pm & 3pm Daily Summer Months

Our flying displays at the centre usually consist of a falconer demonstrating the abilities of three different species of bird of prey. Admission to our Public Displays (on the day): £2.50 adults, £2.00 children & concessions, under 5's free.

Throughout the summer months, from Easter Weekend until September, Cheshire Falconry holds regular demonstrations of their trained birds of prey daily at 1pm and 3pm. All are welcome and pre-booking is not necessary as we have the capacity to seat up to a couple of hundred people at any one time. If you are planning to bring a large group (20 or more) then we would appreciate knowing in advance but if you just want to turn up then that’s fine too.

With full commentary throughout they will introduce each birds and put it through its paces and as it exercises you will be treated to a fascinating insight into its behaviour and biology. These can be relaxed and sedate when a beautiful graceful owl is flown or high octane entertainment when the eagles or falcons make an appearance.

The species flown in the 3pm display will differ from those used in the 1pm by at least two different species, sometimes three meaning that both offer a different experience for visitors.
