DO AGE RESTRICTIONS APPLY?

Yes, age restrictions apply to those persons undertaking the experience session and spectators. Please see individual experiences for further details.

WHAT TO BRING ON THE DAY?

You must bring with you either the experience gift card or e-voucher on the day of your session as proof of purchase, receipts alone will not be accepted. Please wear appropriate clothing and don’t forget your camera, you’ll be able to take some fantastic photographs on the day!

ARE THE BIRD OF PREY EXPERIENCES WEATHER DEPENDENT?

Although we endeavour to run our sessions 360 days a year, any falconry experiences may be re-scheduled due to poor weather conditions at the discretion of your falconer.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

As with all our outdoor experiences we ask that clients wear suitable clothing for all weather conditions, which should include flat shoes such as trainers, walking boots or wellingtons. We will provide all the appropriate safety equipment where necessary.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS?

The use of cameras and/or video cameras is welcomed. Why not follow us on Twitter or upload photos of your experience session to Cheshire Falconry on Facebook.

ARE HOT DRINKS/REFRESHMENTS AVAILABLE TO BUY?

Refreshments are available to purchase from the reception building. Further to this there are a range of places to eat, drink and relax on-site.

IS THERE ACCESS FOR WHEELCHAIR USERS?

Cheshire Falconry aviary complex is accessible for wheelchair users. Please phone 01606 882223 to discuss the suitability for wheelchair users on specific experiences as some may be unsuitable.

IF I ACCOMPANY SOMEONE, WHAT CAN I DO WHILST THEY ARE ON A BIRDS OF PREY EXPERIENCE?

If you do not wish to book and pay for a spectator place on one of our birds of prey experiences, don’t worry there is plenty to do on-site at Blakemere Village.

CAN I BOOK IN ADVANCE OF MY TOUR OR BUY A GIFT VOUCHER?

Yes, please call us on 01606 882223 or book online.

CAN I CANCEL OR RE-BOOK MY GIFT EXPERIENCE?

Yes, you can cancel and re-book your gift experience; but a charge of £15 applies per voucher. The new booking must be within the expiry date of the voucher.

CAN I RECEIVE A DISCOUNT FOR A LARGE GROUP BOOKING?

Yes! Please contact Cheshire Falconry on 01606 882223 to discuss the options available to you. We can tailor sessions to your needs and look forward to your call to discuss your requirements.

I DON’T KNOW WHICH VOUCHER TO BUY, DO YOU OFFER MONETARY VOUCHERS?

If you are unsure which birds of prey experience you wish to purchase as a gift, then monetary gift vouchers are available. Monetary vouchers are available to purchase online. Go to our falconry experiences page and click on any falconry experience and monetary vouchers are available.

BUYING A CARDED GIFT EXPERIENCE

Our Falconry Experience Gift Vouchers are sent to customers in the form of a presentation card. The reverse of our carded gift vouchers is validated for 12 months from the date of issue, except when bought as a Special Offer Voucher.
Recipients then call us to arrange a suitable time for any day of the week.

BUYING AN INSTANT E-VOUCHER

Purchase vouchers online and print them instantly or email them with your own message, straight to your chosen recipient. E-vouchers are validated for 12 months from the date of issue, except when bought as a Special Offer Voucher.
Recipients then call us to arrange a suitable time for any day of the week.

BUYING A MONETARY VOUCHER

We now offer monetary gift vouchers for any value starting from £20. All our monetary e-Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, except when bought as a Special Offer Voucher.

SPECTATOR VOUCHER

If you would like to accompany the participant on their experience with birds of prey then why not purchase a spectator place when you buy the voucher? Please note that spectator places can only be purchased and used in conjunction with a valid participants voucher. Spectators must be 14 years or older.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE MY VOUCHER?

Lost vouchers are non-redeemable, so please take the utmost care in looking after your voucher. Please pass this information on to a gift recipient if they have received an experience voucher.

CAN I UPGRADE MY BIRD OF PREY GIFT VOUCHER?

Yes! Please contact Cheshire Falconry on 01606 882223. Let us know which voucher you have received (for example Meet the Birds) and let us know which voucher you would like to upgrade to. We will be happy to make the booking, upgrade the voucher and take payment over the telephone.

WHAT IF MY VOUCHER HAS EXPIRED?

We want you to have undertaken your experience before your voucher expires. You can extend your voucher(s) for a further 3 months if the voucher has expired but a charge of £25 per voucher applies. Please contact Cheshire Falconry on 01606 882223 to book an expired voucher.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY VOUCHER?

If you purchase an e-voucher, please print this off and bring with you on the day of your experience. All carded experience vouchers will be sent out first class post on the day of purchase.

NO SHOWS

Participants who fail to turn up to their booked session will invalidate their voucher(s).
